ResourcesPrograms in Bowen Theory links students, clinicians, and others interested in Bowen theory to a wealth of resources. Executive Director, Laura Havstad studied with Dr. Murray Bowen and she retains a close connection to the Bowen Center, which he founded. In addition to the Bowen Center and the programs in the network of Bowen centers, The Murray Bowen Archives Project provides a wealth of material related to Bowen and the development of his theory.
Bowen was a pioneer in the use of audio-visual material for teaching and training. In addition, students of Bowen theory have written extensively about application of Bowen theory to clinical practice and to work with organizations from family businesses to religious congregations.
